Service degradation via unbounded mail search expressions
Published Feb 12, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2025
Uncontrolled resource consumption in OX App Suite 8.19 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to reduce availability via mail search expressions. The backend processes user-defined mail search expressions without a time or resource limit, allowing expensive expressions to sustain high processing load. An authenticated mail account and network access to the HTTP API are required; the documented consequence is reduced service availability, not data access or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
