Reflected script execution via unsanitized parameters
Published Sep 29, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Reflected cross-site scripting in Giovambattista Fazioli WP Bannerize Pro through 1.6.9 allows remote attackers to execute script via crafted parameters. The plugin reflects request parameters into generated pages without sanitizing or escaping them, creating a script execution sink in the affected web interface. Exploitation requires a victim, such as a high-privilege administrator, to follow a malicious link; successful execution can read accessible page data or perform actions in that victim's session.
