CVE-2023-41651Network attack vector

Unauthorized settings changes via missing nonce check

Published May 8, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

Cross-site request forgery in tugbucket Multi-column Tag Map 17.0.26 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify plugin settings. The sc_mcTagMap_plugin_options() function accepts a settings request without verifying a WordPress nonce before applying the submitted changes. Exploitation requires an administrator with an active session to follow a crafted link, limiting the consequence to unauthorized plugin-setting changes.
