Stored XSS via crafted HTML image upload
Published Aug 31, 2023 · Updated Oct 1, 2024
Stored XSS in GruppoSCAI RealGimm 1.1.37p38 allows remote attackers to execute script in another user's browser via an HTML upload. The Carica immagine workflow accepts an HTML document in place of an image, stores it beneath the web application, and serves its script without neutralization. Another application user must select or open the stored page; execution remains in that user's browser context, and the published proof of concept does not demonstrate host command execution.
