Unauthenticated file disclosure via unsanitized download path
Published Oct 17, 2023 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Path traversal in eSST Monitoring 2.147.1 allows remote attackers to read files outside the download directory through crafted requests. The file download handler accepts an attacker-controlled path without sanitizing traversal sequences, causing resolution outside the intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the reported consequence is file disclosure without modification or service interruption.
