Stored XSS via unsanitized category inputs
Published Sep 11, 2023 · Updated Sep 26, 2024
Stored XSS in Dairy Farm Shop Management System 1.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through category inputs. The Add Category workflow accepts crafted HTML in the Category and Category Field parameters without neutralizing it before browser rendering. An account with appropriate category permissions can plant code that executes when another user views the affected content, exposing that browser session to script-driven data access or changes.
