Reflected XSS via unfiltered durationFormat parameter
Published Sep 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in Appfire Time to SLA 10.13.5 allows remote attackers to execute script in a Jira user's browser via a crafted URL. The ConfigureReport.jspa handler returns the durationFormat parameter without strict filtering, causing the browser to interpret injected HTML or JavaScript as page content. A licensed, activated plugin is required, and a user must open the crafted report URL; execution occurs in that user's Jira browser context.
