Stored cross-site scripting in Omeka S before 4.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a crafted asset upload. AssetAdapter validated an upload's declared media type but passed no filename-extension allowlist, permitting scriptable files with an accepted type to be stored. Execution requires another user to open the uploaded asset, exposing browser-accessible data or actions in that user's session.
