Unauthenticated file read via JDBC option bypass
Published Sep 8, 2023 · Updated Sep 26, 2024
Arbitrary file read in Jeecg Boot 3.5.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to read server files through /testConnection. The endpoint loads a submitted JDBC driver and opens the submitted database URL after replacing only allowLoadLocalInfile=true, so the value yes bypasses the safeguard. No authentication or user interaction is required; a crafted MySQL connection can disclose files readable by the Jeecg Boot process, with no demonstrated write or service-interruption impact.
