Client-side script execution via unencoded keyword
Published Aug 30, 2023 · Updated Nov 11, 2025
Reflected XSS in phpjabbers Business Directory Script 3.2 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via keyword. The listings search reflects the keyword query parameter into returned HTML without encoding, causing attacker-supplied markup to render as active content. Exploitation requires a victim to open a crafted URL; injected script then runs in the site's browser origin and can read or alter content available to that session.
