Doctor-record disclosure via interpolated contact parameter
Published Aug 7, 2025 · Updated Aug 7, 2025
SQL injection in Hospital Management System 4 allows remote attackers to read doctor records through the doctor_contact form parameter. doctorsearch.php interpolates the submitted value into a quoted SELECT statement and passes the resulting string to mysqli_query without escaping or parameterization. CISA scoring requires user interaction despite no required privileges; a successful injected query can expose stored doctor credentials and fees.
