Database manipulation via unparameterized doctor login
Published Aug 7, 2025 · Updated Aug 8, 2025
SQL injection in Hospital Management System 4 allows remote attackers to manipulate its MySQL database through the doctor login. The doctor login in func1.php inserts username3 and password3 directly into a SELECT statement without parameterization or escaping. No authentication or user interaction is required, and a crafted login request can bypass the credential check and expose or alter database data.
