License alteration via missing CSRF checks
Published Aug 30, 2023 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
CSRF in Moove Agency User Activity Tracking and Log before 4.0.9 allows remote attackers to alter the plugin license through an administrator. The license-management handler accepts state-changing update and deactivation requests without a valid WordPress nonce or equivalent CSRF check. The attacker must induce a logged-in administrator to submit a forged request; the resulting changes are limited to the plugin license.
