Stored XSS via unsanitized Additional Meta Tag
Published Sep 15, 2023 · Updated Sep 25, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in CSZCMS 1.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another user's browser. The Pages Content editor stores arbitrary JavaScript in the Additional Meta Tag field and later emits it into page metadata without effective neutralization. Administration-panel access is required to plant the payload, and exploitation requires another user to load the affected page.
