Unauthenticated arbitrary file read via path traversal
Published Nov 3, 2023 · Updated Sep 5, 2024
Path traversal in NCSIST ManageEngine Mobile Device Manager MDM V1.4 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary system files. A parameter used by an unspecified special function accepts traversal paths, bypassing authentication and escaping the intended directory. The public advisory does not identify the parameter, request path, or filesystem access routine, and the consequence is limited to file disclosure.
