Login enumeration via array-valued name parameter
Published Sep 26, 2023 · Updated Sep 23, 2024
Improper access control in GLPI before 10.0.10 allows remote attackers to enumerate valid user logins through the user form. The unauthenticated /front/user.form.php endpoint accepts an array-valued name parameter and turns its elements into a SQL LIKE predicate, returning a matching user ID in the redirect. No account or user interaction is required, and the bounded result is disclosure of valid login names rather than password or session data.
