CVE-2023-41314Network attack vector

Unauthenticated file read and DoS via FE APIs

Published Dec 18, 2023 · Updated Nov 20, 2024

Incorrect authorization in Apache Doris 1.2.0 through 2.0.3 allows remote attackers to read FE files or interrupt service through HTTP APIs. The /api/snapshot and /api/get_log_file handlers accept requests without authentication; Apache has not published deeper implementation details. Network access to the FE HTTP service is sufficient, with consequences bounded to arbitrary FE-node file retrieval and service interruption.
