Background app persistence via sticky broadcasts

Resource consumption in Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI allows local users to keep malicious apps running continuously via sticky broadcasts. Huawei identifies the locus only as the sticky broadcast mechanism and has not disclosed the faulty operation that keeps an app alive. Exploitation requires local execution and user interaction; the bounded consequence is continuous background activity and resource consumption, with no documented data access or modification.
