Service interruption via security-module memory overwrite
Published Sep 26, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI allows remote attackers to interrupt service through the security module. The security module writes beyond a stack buffer, but Huawei has not disclosed the affected routine, input field, or missing bounds check. EMUI 12.0.0 and 13.0.0 and HarmonyOS 2.0.0, 2.1.0, and 3.0.0 are affected; network access requires no privileges or user interaction, and the precise interruption mode is undisclosed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
