Bone voice ID feature outage via mutex race
Published Sep 26, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
Race condition in Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI bone voice ID trusted application allows remote attackers to cause feature unavailability via mutex misuse. The trusted application mishandles synchronization of shared resources, allowing concurrent execution to leave bone voice ID unavailable. Exploitation requires network reachability and has a bounded availability impact limited to the bone voice ID feature; no confidentiality or integrity impact is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
