App window resizing via unchecked parameters
Published Oct 11, 2023 · Updated Sep 18, 2024
Improper parameter validation in Huawei HarmonyOS 3.0.0, 3.1.0, and 4.0.0 and EMUI 13.0.0 allows remote attackers to resize app windows. The window module inadequately verifies supplied parameters before applying them to an application's window dimensions. Network access requires neither authentication nor user interaction; the reported consequence is limited to window geometry, with no confidentiality or availability effect.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
