Feature disruption via unauthorized PMS API access
Published Sep 25, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024
Unauthorized PMS API access in affected Huawei HarmonyOS and EMUI versions allows remote attackers to disrupt device features. Huawei identifies the PMS module but has not disclosed the affected API, the missing authorization operation, or the request needed to reach it. Affected releases are HarmonyOS 2.0.0, 2.0.1, 2.1.0, and 3.0.0 and EMUI 12.0.0, 12.0.1, and 13.0.0; exploitation requires network access and has only a reported availability consequence.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
