Kernel memory disclosure and crash via EA parsing

Out-of-bounds read in Linux ksmbd allows remote authenticated users to disclose kernel memory or crash the host via crafted SMB EA data. smb2_set_ea() advances through FILE_FULL_EA_INFORMATION entries using attacker-controlled NextEntryOffset values, then validates the next entry against its start offset instead of the remaining buffer length. A writable SMB handle or share write access is required; the over-read can persist adjacent heap data in a retrievable extended attribute or trigger a kernel oops or panic.
