Sensitive file disclosure via path traversal
Published Apr 26, 2024 · Updated Aug 12, 2024
Path traversal in QNAP QuFirewall before 2.4.1 allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to read unexpected files. QNAP has not published the affected endpoint or the path-validation operation that permits traversal outside the intended directory. Administrator access to the appliance is required, and successful exploitation exposes readable sensitive data without a reported write capability.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
