Unauthenticated endpoint access via unnormalized resource paths
Published Aug 29, 2023 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
Path traversal in the Qlik Sense Enterprise for Windows proxy allows remote attackers to access unauthorized endpoints via crafted HTTP paths. The proxy allowlists font-like resource paths without normalizing traversal segments before routing them to backend services. No authentication or anonymous-access configuration is required; the flaw creates an anonymous session and exposes otherwise restricted endpoints.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
