An out-of-bounds read in Intel QuickAssist Technology Windows drivers before QAT1.7-W-1.11.0 allows local users to cause a service interruption. Intel identifies the faulty operation only as an out-of-bounds read and has not disclosed the affected driver routine or the input that reaches it.
