An out-of-bounds read in Intel QuickAssist Technology Windows drivers before QAT1.7-W-1.11.0 allows local users to cause a service interruption. Intel identifies the faulty operation only as an out-of-bounds read and has not disclosed the affected driver routine or the input that reaches it. Exploitation requires local authenticated access and can deny availability without reported data disclosure or modification.
