Administrator-level stored XSS via unsanitized settings
Published Sep 27, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Hassan Ali Snap Pixel 1.5.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through plugin settings. The administrative settings path stores values without sufficient input sanitization and renders them without adequate output escaping. Administrator access is required, and script execution is limited to multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled when a user opens an injected page.
