Victim-context script execution via unvalidated endpoint input
Published Jan 23, 2024 · Updated May 30, 2025
Reflected XSS in Trend Micro Mobile Security for Enterprise 9.8 SP5 before 9.8.3311 allows remote attackers to execute script in a victim's session. The ServerUpdate_UpdateSuccessful endpoint reflects user-supplied data into its response without proper validation, enabling arbitrary script injection. Exploitation requires an authenticated victim to visit a malicious link or open a malicious file, after which requests execute with that victim's application privileges.
