Browser script execution via unescaped replacement results
Published Aug 30, 2023 · Updated Oct 1, 2024
Reflected XSS in the Usermin 2.000 File Manager allows remote attackers to execute browser script through replacement results. The replace action returns attacker-supplied content from the “replace in results” field to the File Manager page without neutralizing it for HTML output. Execution requires a user to activate the crafted replace operation, and the script runs in the victim's Usermin browser context.
