CVE-2023-41134Network attack vector

Country restriction bypass via spoofed client IP

Published Jun 4, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

IP address spoofing in Antispam Bee 2.11.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to bypass configured country restrictions on comments. The get_client_ip routine treats user-supplied HTTP forwarding headers as the client address used by the country check instead of relying on the server-observed peer address. The issue is reachable through unauthenticated comment submissions only when country filtering is enabled, allowing blocked-region comments to pass that control.
