Local SYSTEM privilege escalation through Windows installer

Privilege escalation in Eviden CardOS API before 5.5.5.2811 allows local users to gain SYSTEM privileges through its Windows installer. Eviden states that a package-installer change introduced the flaw but does not disclose the vulnerable file, service, or unsafe operation. A regular local account on a system with CardOS API already installed is sufficient, granting complete SYSTEM-level control.
