Remote TMM termination via IPsec traffic
Published Oct 10, 2023 · Updated Sep 19, 2024
Denial of service in affected F5 BIG-IP releases allows remote attackers to terminate TMM via traffic to an IPsec virtual server. An IPsec-enabled virtual server passes undisclosed network traffic into TMM, where improper handling of an exceptional condition terminates the process. The configuration must enable IPsec on a virtual server; F5 has not disclosed the triggering traffic, and the reported consequence is a traffic-management service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
