Session hijacking via unvalidated session cookies
Published Sep 18, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Session-management failure in Socomec MODULYS GP web firmware 01.12.10 allows remote attackers to steal session cookies. The web application accepts session cookies without validating their integrity, allowing a stolen cookie to be replayed as an authenticated session. Network access to the web interface is sufficient, and the replayed session grants every action permitted to the impersonated account on the UPS.
