Internal HTTP data disclosure via noncanonical URL parsing
Published Sep 4, 2023 · Updated Sep 30, 2024
SSRF in Ahwxorg LibreY before 8f9b9803f231e2954e5b49987a532d28fe50a627 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary HTTP response bodies. The get_root_domain function splits the supplied url parameter on slashes and treats the text after two slashes as the host, so noncanonical URLs pass the domain allowlist while the HTTP client requests a different destination. No authentication or user interaction is required; responses from internal HTTP services are returned, and large downloads can interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
