CVE-2023-41031

Root command execution via crafted homemng.htm requests

Published Sep 22, 2023 · Updated Sep 24, 2024

Command injection in homemng.htm in Juplink RX4-1500 1.0.2 through 1.0.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. The public advisory does not identify the request parameter, command-building routine, or missing neutralization that admits shell syntax. Reaching the flaw requires authentication and adjacent-network access; successful exploitation grants root-level command execution.
