CVE-2023-41030

Unauthenticated management access via embedded credentials

Published Sep 18, 2023 · Updated Sep 25, 2024

Hard-coded credentials in Juplink RX4-1500 1.0.2 through 1.0.5 allow remote attackers to access its web interface or Telnet service. The firmware embeds credentials accepted by both management services for the low-privileged user account; the publisher has not disclosed the storage location or validation routine. An attacker within network reach needs no prior account and gains user-level router management access, while administrative privilege is not established.
