CVE-2023-41028Network attack vector

Root code execution via stack buffer overflow

Published Aug 23, 2023 · Updated Oct 3, 2024

Stack-based buffer overflow in Juplink RX4-1500 1.0.2 through 1.0.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute code as root. Exodus Intelligence has not disclosed the affected interface, buffer, or input whose unchecked operation overruns the stack. Access requires authentication to the network-reachable router, and successful exploitation grants root control of the appliance.
