Server-side requests via unvalidated bibliography URI
Published Sep 1, 2023 · Updated Oct 1, 2024
SSRF in Senayan Library Management Systems SLIMS 9 Bulian 9.6.1 allows attackers to send server-side requests via a crafted URL. The pop_p2p.php endpoint concatenates the unvalidated uri query parameter with a fixed path and passes the result to modsXMLsenayan(), which loads the remote XML with simplexml_load_file(). An administrator or user with bibliography access must be logged in and visit the crafted link; the resulting request can reach attacker-chosen network destinations.
