Privilege escalation via recency SQL injection
Published Dec 15, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in Dynamic Progress Bar in Odoo 11.0 through 16.0.2.1 allows remote attackers to gain privileges via recency. The get_all_progress method interpolated the recency parameter into a PostgreSQL INTERVAL expression before the fix switched to a parameterized query. Remote unauthenticated attackers can reach the vulnerable operation without user interaction, enabling database confidentiality, integrity, and availability impact.
