Unauthenticated service disruption via MAC-filter stack overflow
Published Aug 24, 2023 · Updated Oct 2, 2024
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda AC10 v4 16.03.10.13 allows remote attackers to disrupt the router via a crafted HTTP request. The /goform/setMacFilterCfg handler processes attacker-controlled macFilterType and deviceList values without adequate bounds enforcement, overflowing stack storage. Unauthenticated network access is sufficient to corrupt the firmware process and interrupt the device's management service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
