Unauthenticated command execution via unfiltered IPTV fields
Published Aug 30, 2023 · Updated Oct 1, 2024
OS command injection in Tenda AC6 firmware 1.0BR_V15.03.05.16_multi_TD01.bin allows remote attackers to execute commands over the network. The formSetIptv handler forwards unfiltered list and vlanId request fields to sub_ADD50, which uses them as command arguments. No authentication or user interaction is required, and commands execute with the router service's privileges.
