Stored cross-site scripting via unsanitized saved-search fields
Published Nov 18, 2023 · Updated Aug 29, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in OpenCRX 5.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to render attacker-supplied HTML through saved searches. The Activity Saved Search form stores Name and Description values and renders them as HTML without neutralizing markup. Guest-account access is sufficient to create the entry, and interaction with the saved search exposes the rendered content in the application.
