Database password disclosure via crafted API requests
Published Mar 11, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Information disclosure in Fortinet FortiSIEM affected releases allows remote attackers to read the database password via crafted API requests. An API endpoint returns the stored database password when a request presents an agent authorization header, without requiring normal user authentication. Exploitation requires prior knowledge of that header; the exposed credential enables unauthorized database access and subsequent command or code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
