Database compromise via retained default credentials

Use of default credentials in Philips Vue PACS before 12.2.8.410 allows local users to access the database and alter or interrupt data. The installer permits deployment with Philips-supplied database credentials instead of requiring a unique, complex password. Exploitation requires local, highly privileged access and knowledge of the retained password; database access can expose data, alter records, or interrupt service.
