Stored script execution via unsanitized GeoIP argument
Published Sep 27, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in VeronaLabs SlimStat Analytics 5.0.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with Administrator access to execute scripts. The vendor changelog identifies only inadequate sanitization of a GeoIP argument; neither the vendor nor CNA names the affected field or rendering path. Exploitation requires Administrator-level access and a privileged user to interact with the stored content, bounding the result to script execution in that viewer's browser.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
