Stored XSS via unsanitized shortcode rendering
Published Nov 30, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Lasso Analytics Lasso Lite 118 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via shortcode content. The shortcode renderer inserts stored shortcode content into generated pages without neutralizing executable markup. A low-privileged user must store the payload, and another user must view the affected page; execution occurs in that viewer's browser.
