Browser script execution via reflected input
Published Dec 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in ARTIO JoomDOC 1.0.0 through 4.0.5 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser via a crafted request. The Joomla Project has not disclosed the affected request parameter, rendering path, or missing output-encoding operation. Exploitation requires a user to load attacker-controlled content; successful script runs in the JoomDOC site's origin and can read or alter data available to that user's session.
