CVE-2023-4061Network attack vector

Authenticated system-property disclosure via resolve-expression

Published Nov 8, 2023 · Updated Nov 7, 2025

Information disclosure in WildFly Core in Red Hat JBoss EAP 7.4 before 7.4.13 allows remote authenticated users to read system properties. The HAL console permits Monitor and similar management roles to invoke resolve-expression without enforcing the intended RBAC restriction. Sensitive values are exposed only when administrators place them in system properties; default installations contain no sensitive values there.
