Stored script execution via View settings
Published Sep 5, 2023 · Updated Sep 30, 2024
Stored XSS in the View settings page of i-PRO VI Web Client before 7.9.6 allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. Public advisories identify the storage locus only as the View settings page and do not disclose which field accepts the script or how output encoding fails. Exploitation requires an authenticated attacker to add a crafted page and a logged-in user to open it, causing the script to run in that user's browser.
