Administrator credential theft via unsanitized disconnectMessage reflection
Published Oct 3, 2023 · Updated Sep 20, 2024
Reflected XSS in Broadpeak Centralized Accounts Management Auth Agent allows remote attackers to run script via disconnectMessage. The bpk-common/auth/login/index.html portal returns disconnectMessage without neutralizing script or HTML in builds 01.01.00.19219575_ee9195b0, 01.01.01.30097902_fd999e76, and 00.12.01.9565588_1254b459. Exploitation requires a user to open a crafted URL; injected script then runs in that user's browser context and exposes session or credential data.
